Dr. Yenan Xu is the owner and general dentist at 803 Dental. A top 3% graduate of NYU College of Dentistry and the recipient of the “Resident of the Year” award during his General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital, Dr. Xu brings extensive clinical training, precision, and empathy to every patient interaction. His approach is rooted in listening first—so patients always feel heard, never rushed.
Originally from New York, Dr. Xu has more than 8 years of experience treating patients across a wide range of procedures—from restorative dentistry and clear aligners to surgical extractions and implant placement. What truly sets him apart is his calm demeanor, clear explanations, and commitment to only recommending what you genuinely need. He believes in empowering patients through education and working together to find the best solutions—without the pressure you may have experienced elsewhere.
Dr. Xu is also deeply invested in continuing education and the latest advancements in dental technology. He regularly trains in digital workflows, CBCT-based implant planning, and advanced restorative techniques so that patients at 803 Dental benefit from accurate, predictable results with fewer appointments and greater comfort.
Outside the operatory, Dr. Xu enjoys time with his wife and daughter, photography, exploring new restaurants, and gaming. He’s proud to serve the Fort Mill community and help patients discover that going to the dentist really can be a positive experience.
